“The only surprises were pleasant ones.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2011

Mrs. Murray could not have been more helpful, and the house itself was in a pleasant location, well within walking distance of Aviemore's many amenities, although there were no spectacular views. But the house was clean, secure, very well equipped, especially the immaculate kitchen, and warm. Too warm initially: we had to turn the heating down, even thought the outside temp. was about 7C. The design and parking area of the house makes it ideal for a partially disabled (but ambulatory) person, and permission for smokers and pets is a bonus for many people. To be recommended without hesitation, and we would love to return at any time of year.

“Great value and we'll be back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2010

Have just returned from a week in coire cas bungalow. There are 2 bedrooms - a quite small double and a larger room with full size bunks and a single too. The decor is a little old fashioned but we did not want for anything in the bungalow or garden. There is a good hot shower, sky tv (free view) and everything you could need in the kitchen. The bungalow is located in a quiet cul de sac was about 15 mins walk from the town centre (through the estate and then down a quiet paved road which felt safe but was quiet dark at night). We took the option of passes for the dalfaber leisure centre from Linda. It was less than 5 mins away and great in the wet weather - offering good size pool, tennis, squash, badminton etc. On our last day we did think we'd had a power cut on the morning but headed out without really thinking about it - on return with still no power we rang Linda who advised us to put money in the meter in the cupboard - worth being aware!! Only possible improvement would be wifi as none available at the mo.

“Highly Recommended Self Catering Accommodation”

Have just returned from a week at the Corie Cas bungalow which sleeps up to 7. The bungalow was lovely and clean on our arrival and it appeared that the bathroom and kitchen had been recently refurbished. The kitchen contained a wide range of cooking utensils plus a microwave and cooker. There was a TV with selected sky channels, DVD player and video recorder. The garden area contained a patio table and chairs. Overall the accommodation was of a high standard and only a 10 min walk to the high street.

“Fab!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 May 2009

Just back from a long weekend with the girls (and 3 dogs!) and we stayed in 'Eilrig'. As previous reviews have said the location is great, just outside the main town but close enough. The bungalow is great, very roomy, very clean and has everything you would need from cleaning materials to towels and fresh bedding.

The kitchen is very well equipt and the livingroom/dining room is spacious and has a tv/dvd/video.

There is a lovely little garden and driveway but it's not enclosed so we didn't let the dogs out alone, saying that, that wasn't a problem. It is such a lovely quiet wooded area it was nice and easy to nip out to the woods with the dogs and most times we did, there were deer wandering around just outside!!

We spent a lovely day at Loch Morlich, it's a great easy walk around it (about 4 miles) but lots of nice stopping places for picnics and a gorgeous beach!

The views are spectacular!

Would I recommend it - YES! Would I go back - Can't wait!
