This was the second time I had stayed in these apartments, and I will be doing do again. The flats are spacious - this time I was in a two bedroom, last in a one bedroom, and neither felt cramped. This is helped by high ceilings in all rooms. In the 2 bedroom, the kitchen was separate, and one bedroom was ensuite, both of which were advantages. The staff are very helpful - they went out of their way to make things easy for my disable companinon, although since there was not a space available in the car park, from which the apartments can be accessed by lift, she did find the steps up to the front door very difficult. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and beautifully warm.
Downsides? The large windows, which let in plenty of lovely light are not double glazed,and also let in plenty of unlovely late night noise - boy racers with boom-boom cars, drunken revellers on the way home at 3am singing off key karaoke nimbers etc. The other think is that most people clearly eat out - no wooden spoons, knives not sharp, no cafetiere. Scant toiletries, and most bizarre of all, no toilet rolls! And that does seem a little mean for the price...

I must admit I stayed at these flats at the same time as the previous review & our flat 221 was clean & very spacious.

It was a 2 bed flat with all that you need - the only thing is no tv in the bedroom but that is not realy a problem.

I always say to be honest in your review & if you are staying at a hotel/flat don't expect 5star service for 2star money.

Our flat had a on suite in one bedroom & a shared bathroom all were clean & tidy.

As to getting your keys - you are given a code for the front door & a code for the key safe - no problem with that.

Overall a very clean & tidy & will use again

I stay in loads of hotels and have began to choose to stay in serviced apartments if I am in the same place for a few night. The Glasgow Centrale sounded pretty good on paper but it left my really fed up and disappointed. If it was Traditional hotel I would have checked out immediately but by the time I arrived reception was closed. Here is a summary of what I didn't like;
Dirty Walls, Holes in floors, broken bedroom window, on busy road but only single glazed, broken bin in kitchen, very cheap furniture, no TV in bedroom, when ask about local restaurant told to look at google.
It's just very snatch and even at £80 a night I won't be back.

I use the Centrale Apartments at least twice a month for business. The units are really well looked after and very clean and the service from the Centrale team is excellent. Great location and nicely decorated, much better than a hotel if you're staying for a few days.
