We stayed in their 'best' room at the front of the building.
It was freezing cold (snow outside) and the fan heater in the bathroom didn't work so my toddler had to bath in the cold. They told me that they couldn't do anything about the broken heater until I threatened to complain about substandard living conditions.
There is NO CENTRAL HEATING, only electric heaters and you have to wait about 45 minutes for the immersion heater in order to have any hot water.
All of this is paid for by you, the guest, via an electric meter which you feed with £1 coins. We spent 4 nights there and spent well over £20 on the electric meter.
The decor is also out of date and the blankets are acrylic.
If it weren't for the fantastic location, it would have ruined our stay in Glasgow.
Oh, and when I went to the hotel next door to check out - the woman opened the door and just took my keys from me before closing the door again - didn't even bother to ask how my stay had been.
