“I loved it”

Stayed here on a recent trip to Glasgow and it was great.

Checked in early without any probelms.

The Corner Suite was huge, but seemed to me to be more of a massive room with a room divider separating the bed from the louge area. The bathroom would have been good for a standard room but I though that for a corner suite it should have been bigger and better - it was missing touches such as a double shower and underfloor heating which at this price I would have expected and for that I'm only rating room and value as "very good"

Had a few drinks in the Corner Bar which had a good atmosphere.

The Breakfast was tip-top. A buffet can be a bit hit or miss but this was one of the best. There was a geat selection of hot and cold from the buffet which was kept well stocked and a fair selection of items to order.

“Excellent value for money”

Stayed at the hotel for one night in November 2011. Got a great deal from 5pm - was great not having to explain the deal when we arrived as staff were well-informed.

We arrived just after 12 hoping to dump our bags but we were able to check in. Really appreciated this. The rooms are large and modern. We got room service breakfast which was of a high standard.

Special treat was the Crunchie each for the turndown service! Looking forward to my next visit next weekend.

“As good as ever!”

We spent three nights at the Radisson at the end of November. We always stay here when we go up to Glasgow as it’s such a brilliant location, so near to the town centre and a great, modern hotel. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the rooms are really nice - all well appointed and clean. I still don’t really understand the difference between a standard and a business room though, apart from the price of course! We have stayed in both types and the only difference I can find is that in the business rooms, there is a Nespresso machine and you also get free movies. They both look exactly the same, so not really worth the extra money!

They have a lovely restaurant, Collage and the breakfasts are great, so much choice and it’s all very tasty and fresh with good service. We also like the bar and sitting watching the world go by through those big windows!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stay in Glasgow.

“Great hotel for the money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We stayed here for a night while attending a company function at a different hotel in Glasgow. We've stayed in a few Radisson hotels and find them usually excellent.

Overall I'd say the hotel is very well run, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent (we didn't have dinner there).

The room was very quite and quite plush, albeit a very modern and perhaps not very homely (for our tastes at least). The only thing that we didn't like was the bed - we found the mattress quite worn and uncomfortable.

Other than that, the rest was all good. They don't have parking, but you can use a nearby car park and they have a deal for £6 per day, which is extremely good for Glasgow City Centre.

They have a leisure club (LA fitness) but we didn't use it.

“Great staff, nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Stayed here with my wife on a midweek night using a promotional booking site. Hotel was stylish, bedroom spacious, good bathroom and breakfast excellent. Best bit about the hotel was that all the staff - receptionists, concierge, waiting staff and housekeeping were, without exception, really friendly and helpful.
Free wi-fi and iPod dock in room good features.
Only negatives were poor TV picture quality, poor choice of TV channels and the free films (part of the promotional deal) weren't available.
