Very Basic and tired looking accommodation needing a facelift and new furniture as it was much worn. Had booked two rooms and was greeted with a horrible smell in one which turned out to be a dirty nappy which was left in the bathroom bin, along with a lot of hair in the sink.
In the second room at the top of the building, there was extensive mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, and room smelt of smoke (cigarette butts on the outside window sill).
Noisy if you are on the road side of the hotel, as the sound of the traffic and revellers was very loud. Bed a reasonable sleep and breakfast also reasonable, although not nice to see some residents in their nightwear, not very hygienic.
Service was ok when complaining about the smell and staff were friendly enough.
Well located with a 5 mins walk to Sauchiehall Street

A very last minute choice but would not go back or recommend! The whole ramshackle building has a run down, neglected air about it; dodgy decor, broken glass scotch taped up, no working tv, bathroom tiles all cracked and random holes bashed into the walls!

Great location for the park, bars and restaurants but there must be better hotels nearby... grim!

Stayed here in feb2011 for 4 nights,room very large shared a twin with friend,plenty of space,toilet was small but very warm as heating was on constant throughout stay,very nice as was snowing in glasgow!!
Hotel staff very pleasant,brekike was fun as waitress didnt speak much english although she got the just of what we said! had a great stay and would stay again!
Clean basic cheap accomodation just what you need for a weekend away.

Stayed here when my son got admitted to yorkhill hospital. The room was grubby and cold, toilet was freezing as there was no radiator in toilet. Breakfast was very basic, the selection of fresh fruit was an industrial size can of fruit salad in syrup in a large bowl. Cost was £30 a night. Would not recommend
