Good menu, well priced wine. Could do with more veggie choice tho. Was asked how I'd like my lamb cooked. Waiter went to check for nut allergy issues.
Friendly staff, funky bar and dining room. Old electric works with funky pictures of famous folk on the walls.
Waited a while for main course. Not busy and a large table in so I presume they were skeleton staff in the kitchen.
Lamb was good, proper flame grilled taste. Cous cous was a little solid, like it might have sat under a heat lamp for a minute or two, but v tasty. lamb nice and rare. Portions a good size. Waiters topped up wine glass, but not obsessively.
Lovely rooms, beautiful bathrooms, just how i'd like my house!! Also, volume control for the tv in the bog! They've thought of everything! Nice little individual coffee packets for a cafetiere in the bedroom, not just instant stuff. A few nice touches.
My preference so far for Glasgow.
