Excelent Service, very Friendly welcome and staff , the food was first class, the room was clean and cosy for the money, will be back, looking forward to it already :)

Everything about this hotel was superb; excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and good local real ales. Location is great, close to Glasgow airport, but in a rural setting.

The "Uplawmoor" is a pretty decent, family run hotel, bar and restaurant . Our room was very nice and spotlessly clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Both, breakfast and lunch in the bar were great. They use fresh and high quality products and prepare their meals very well, e.g. toast for breakfast is home made and really superb. I really enjoyed eating here.

We've been in 10 other hotels when travelling through Scotland the last two weeks but this one was the best. I highly recommend the Uplawmoor both for staying there or as bar/restaurant.

I was attending a wedding at another hotel where i couldnt get a room, Decided to book into this one and im glad i did. I arrived early for check in so decided to have lunch in the hotel bar, the service and standard of food was excellent, reasonably priced too.The room was a good size and well presented with an on-suite toilet and shower room there was complimentry tea ,coffee, mineral water and biscuits also,The hotel is situated about 10 minutes drive from glasgow and would be an excellent base for those who do not want to pay the premium rates in glasgow, for a mid priced hotel the accomodations are excellent, it is no surprise to me to see the hotel has already won customer service awards, it is certainly somewhere i will be recommending to friends, If you want a personalised service that most multiple chains are now sadly lacking in then i would strongly recommend this hotel.
