I stayed at this hotel for 5 days as I was attending a five day dance course in Glagow. The room was very affordable and it was infact better than I expected for the low price. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, spacious and I had an extra bed. On the third day of my stay my boyfriend was added on to the room for a small charge on short notice, this was not a problem. (I was scared in the big city by myself - being a young girl from a small town!)
I had breakfast every morning it was good- they had sausages, bacon, beans, toast, egg, juice, fruit, cereal, basically everything you could want. The food was good. The hotel did not have a curfew. It is in a very good location as it is central glasgow.
However it is built right on the subway which is noisy! I was woken up quite early which was ok for me as I had to get up early anyways.
Please not the subway is noisy but trains don't run all night long, I think the last one was around 11pm. There can be some noisy passers by as well though as it is on the high street- make sure you shut the windows before you go to bed.
