Stayed here for one night in January, checked in last minute to be greeted by a very helpful local, who recommended some things to do and a few nice places to eat, room very clean and large, free mini bar, makes a change from the normal overpriced ones. Breakfast had a great selection was very nice, as was the service. Checked out expecting to pay a large amount for such a fine hotel (didn’t ask the price before checked in) only to be surprised to be told it was only 89 pound between two. If I were to find any fault it would be that the light in the room wasn’t very bright. Will most definitely be back at this hotel and would highly recommend it

Stayed at this hotel with another couple, it was fantastic!! Executive room highly recomended, its great value for money. Rooms lovely and clean, executive lOunge was brilliant free drinks untill 10:45 which was great, nice and cosy. Bfast was a wide choice of cereals, full english, toast tea coffee ect... Room service was free of charge. Looking forward to our next stay!

The staff are always welcoming here and the hotel is idealy situated for shopping. Dining is relaxed and friendly with a wonderful setting for dinner or breakfast.

Stayed for a weekend in the Carlton George. Excellent hotel and staff. Lovely room with mini bar, stocked with Vodka, Bacardi ,Wine, Beer & soft drinks.Crystal glasses & decanters with Whiskey, Gin & Sherry all included in price. Fantastic large bed. Bathroom with shower and large bath. All the usual toiletries provided. Had breakfast on the first day on the 7th floor but noticed you could have breakfast room service for no extra charge, so went for that option on second day. Just tick all you want on the card provided and leave it outside the door. As we had been the day before we knew all the extra things that we not on the card and whatever you ask for you get. Will definately be going back and would recommend to family & friends.
