Very clean and tidy hotel. Excellent location for city centre although driving there can be difficult (thank heavens for sat nav!) Check in very easy and all staff were very helpful. Car park under hotel very handy. Didn't use leisure facilities so can't comment or bar/restaurant. All in all a decent hotel but not sure I would like to pay full price, we got a good deal.

Stayed night to attend a dinner. No complaints room and food both good.

The Thistle Glasgow was a comfortable hotel. Check in was smooth and efficient. Each floor requires your key card to access. The lifts are very fast.

My room on the 6th floor was at the far end of the corridor. Your room card activates the air con, lights, etc.

I had a queen size bed with duvet. Spare pillows are in the cupboard. The room had adaquete lighting. The bathroom had a great shower (over bath) with good pressure, and plenty of hot water.

The wardrobe had an iron and ironing board, and a safe. There was a desk and chair, as well as two single sofa's. There were two bottles of water (still and sparkling) provided daily. The TV was a large plasma with lots of choices of channels.

Breakfast was great. While busy, the staff tried their best to get everyone seated and tables cleared. Choice of food was excellent, and it was all fresh and tasty. There was not enough fruit.

The hotel is located in the down town area, and within easy walking distance of major attractions including shops and restaurants.

This is without doubt my favourite hotel in Glasgow. I have stayed here several times, and cannot fault it in any way.
The staff are great, the rooms are impeccable and the pool and spa are great for those hangovers from visiting Glasgow!
You are situated right in the middle of the city, you cant get a better location!
I thoroughly recommend to everyone to try the thistle!
