This is a bed-and-breakfast hotel in the heart of Glasgow close to Suachiehall Street and opposite the Glasgow School of Art. The building is one of a terrace of elegant Victorian town houses which are all small hotels.
I booked through laterooms.com and paid £25 for an en-suite single room including the £3 breakfast supplement.
The hotel is accessed by steep steps from the street and is unsuitable for people who need assistance walking or who use wheelchairs.
My room was on the second floor and faced the street, which is generally quiet at night in any case. The room had just been repainted and there was a fairly strong smell of paint as a consequence. The room was clean. There weren't any curtains at the window, which would be a problem in the summer. The en-suite shower room was satisfactory and soap and (smallish) towels were provided. The bed turned out to be a queen-size, new and comfortable, although with no headboard and only two pillows, sitting up to read in bed wasn't ideal.
Breakfast was served in the basement dining room and was just about acceptable. No frills, but I wasn't expecting any for £3.
The location is fine for the city centre if you don't mind walking - and I don't.
