stayed just one night in the guest house but would defiantly recommend to friends and family to come here. the location is fantastic for the golf courses and the centre of St Andrews. The room was very comfortable with everything you could require. Excellent full Scottish breakfast topped off the stay. All staff in the guest house were very friendly and polite. Will defiantly be back if staying in St Andrews again.

Centrally located and within minutes walking distance of the golf course, beach, sea life centre and all the various pubs and coffee houses. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom looked brand new. The full english breakfast was a treat. There was a group of us staying there and we were all extremely satisfied with our stay and i would recommend this guest house to any potential visitors to St Andrews!

Stayed 2 nights & like the below review (cheeky owner) was shocked by the way my family member was treated. Not sure if she was weekend manager or owner but she was rude! Was also disappointed with service at checkout as asked girl what time checkout was & was told 1030 but in room said 10 am. Either way felt this was v early! Room dated, shower v old & room generally poor. Service by owner/manager awful! Don't have a bell if guests are going to be shouted at for ringing it!

This guesthouse was recently taken over by new owners in April I think. We stayed for two nights in Sept 2011 with some of my family. Altogether 7 of us. The rooms were great and very clean. The only issue I had was on checking out the owner was very cheeky to me verging on aggressive because I dared to ring the doorbell to be let in as I had left the front door key in the room. We were going up and down to the car on departure as we had a lot of luggage and they insist on keeping the front door locked and issue you with one key. She marched up to the door to let me in and snapped at me "If this hapens ONE MORE time!!!!!!" . I was so taken aback by this outburst that I did not respond and felt like a child being told off by a teacher. We were all very upset by this attitude as we had just spent £600 between us. Not such a great way to treat customers when you are running a small business. Needless to say we won't be back !!!! If answering the door is such an issue for them maybe they should issue you with more than one front door key or not keep it locked when people are checking out with lots of luggage.
