B & B in a great location. Friendly, helpful staff and lovely breakfasts.
The hotel is a lovely Georgian building.
Small complaints: decor sightly tired, shower not the best ever and the heating was from a wall heater rather than central heating.
However, the lovely atmosphere more than made up for these small things and I will definitely return when next in St Andrews.

“Very helpful staff”
Just stayed for 4 nights B&B, great location for the town and links golf courses, the room was very good, the staff are exceptionally helpful (particularly Katie) and breakfast choice and quality 1st class. Already pre booked for Oct 2012

“The Albany Hotel, St Andrews”
Hotel central to all amenities, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Great value for price. Within walking distance to access all parts of St Andrews University, great restaurants nearby, ie. Glass house.
Room Tip: Small double is as it says, double bed with only access to walk around the bed

“Nice and friendly in the middle of St Andrews!”
My husband and I had a both enjoyed our time in the Albany Hotel. Booking the hotel was very easy, and staff very friendly. Was slightly worried as the room was quoted as 'slightly smaller than normal double room', but could not complain. Room was just what we needed for one night stay in St Andrews. Overlooked the garden and was lovely. Again, staff very helpful and friendly on check-in and check-out. Would recommend and have already booked again!
Room Tip: We were top floor and view was very good!

“Excellent choice”
The Albany is very conveniently located in the centre of St Andrews. The food is very good and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Much recommended.
