We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel to others. From the entrance welcomers to reception, to the staff in the restaurants, everyone is so friendly and helpful. the rooms are gorgeous, the beds a dream, and the spa is wonderful. Breakfast is delicious- the view over the West Sands and Old Course is lovely. Highly recommended.

This is an expensive hotel but provides value for money. Everything is high quality - the food, the surroundings and the service. The pool/spa area is beautiful and the view from the restaurant and rooms on the front of the hotel are spectacular.
Would love to go back.

It`s not cheap but its probably one of the best hotels in the world. Food is amazing and in fairness not really as expensive one might think. My wife used the spa facilities which were superb. it may not be a regular break unless you are very wealthy but once in a while is just right.Don`t forget to visit the little pub round the corner "The Jigger" that looks toward the the town small and very cosy.

just back from an overnight stay , and I can honestly say this is one of the nicest hotels that gives you 5 star treatment and value for money. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms (we stayed in the cheaper ones) are really really lovely. From the moment you arrive..its a very nice experience..the staff are warm and friendly, and cannot do enough for you..we were offered a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, then shown around the hotel, and taken to our room.
Our was just an overnight stay, but would have loved a few days there just to soak up the atmosphere..because this is what I think this hotel has..and lots of it..I certainly think that of many of the 5 star hotels I have stayed this has to be one of the better.I cannot praise the staff highly enough,in all departments..and hope to return in the not too distant future
