Aslar's owners Mary and Stan make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. They have a wealth of local knowledge that they're happy to share and they make you feel ever so welcome.

The rooms are comfortable and, while traditional, they have all the comforts you could wish for: TV with DVD, tea, coffee and biscuits, hairdryer, straighteners, tolietries, a mini fridge and more.

The breakfasts are AMAZING. I probably had 2-3 of my 5 a day with their lush fresh fruit and the salmon and scrambled eggs are heavenly!

Finally, the B&B is really central and handy for everything.

Another Fantastic weekend in St. Andrews, staying with Mary and Stan. As always, a very warm friendly welcome to their immaculate and extremely comfortable B&B. I cannot envisage staying anywhere else when visiting St. Andrews, nowhere else could match the hospitality and service you get from Mary and Stan.

I stayed for 4 nights in Sept in this wondeful B&B. Location was perfect for the uni and town. I had the single room which was really lovely, the bed was reallllly comfy, the bathroom was immaculate and very spacious. The room and the rest of the b&b was spotless. The hosts Stan and Mary could not have been more welcoming, especially as I was on my own. They take a lot of pride in the accomodation and it definitely shows. And the breakfasts truly are delicious!! I would recommend this to everyone going up for a stay in St Andrews, and I look forward to staying again in the future.

Fantastic place to stay.Warm welcome from Mary and Stan.Large bright room was immaculate,lovely ensuite.Great attention to detail.Small fridge in room ,which was great to keep fresh milk in, as I'm not keen on those little plastic cartons.Not only a hairdryer but tongs as well.I really liked the tray to put your shoes in,if you want your room to look great when you get there ,it's this sort of idea that keeps it that way.You wouldn't walk around your bedroom in shoes.Sewing box in your room ,which I did have to use and much better idea than those pkts. in hotels that get wasted.Breakfast was huge,well my husband would go for the full breakfast.There was plenty of choice.Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend this great place
