We stayed in the train carriage which was simply marvellous! A really different twist and the setting was fantastic! The proprietor was helpful and nice with the added benefit that was perfect for if you didn't want to go to the main house for meals. The teeniest, tiniest draw back was the need for a cab to take you to the main part of town. But the expense was so minor, the ambience more than made up for that. We will definitely return! Try the Indian restaurant Maisha for somewhere to eat... Tandoori lobster? Awesome! For traditional haggis, it has to be Mitchells in town.
Room Tip: Stay in one of the railway carriages. Simply stunning!
