Six Murray Place was a delight to stay in: the hosts were not going to be in on my arrival but they were so nice in their email, explaining to me how to get in. When I got there, there was a note waiting for me to welcome me and explain which room was mine and what time breakfast was to be served. The room was spotless, modern, very stylish and really well laid out. The bed and pillow were just so welcoming and clean. I loved it! Breakfast was served by lovely girls, who were so helpful and polite and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. It was absolutely no problem for me to leave my heavy bag in the house while I went to explore the town and beach (the weather was gorgeous, so I could not skip the beach) and picked it up later. St Andrews is a fabulous place on any day, but that B&B made it even better for me. Will definitely go back, as the price was totally reasonable too!

Last minute call and we were lucky to get the last available double room. Great location and the modern decor is a very high standard.Our room - although wee bit tight for space (and def Not a complaint)- was lovely. Very comfortable and loved the bathroom! Breakfast had a good choice and was really enjoyable and a great start to the day. No hesitation in recommending.

We stayed here for 4 nights in March when it was glorious sunshine. The guesthouse is perfectly located, close to the shops, restauarants and also the beach and golf courses. We had a delightful room, clean lines and modern, no fussiness, which is just what I like. There is character though. The breakfasts are 10 out of 10 too. Lots of choice with a buffet and then choices of cooked too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and as St Andrews is our favourite home from home we hope to be back very soon.

We stayed two nights while visiting our daughter at Uni. The location is central and an easy walk to any place in town. The house manager, Jackie, is a fountain of local knowledge and gave us many good suggestions. Breakfast is made to order and delicious. The rooms are a little small, the bathrooms are very nice. We recommend this to anyone visiting St. Andrews.
