Heating would not turn off, no bath plug, shower hose split, bathroom door creaked loudly, no batteries in the remote control.

Although I was clearly warned about the nightclub noise, no warning could prepare you for the extreme noise encountered followed by half an hour of door banging and bottles being cleared

Need I say more,,,,,,,,,,, Never again

stayed for the weekend with my husband[wheelchair user] as an Anniversary treat. The staff were wonderful, they could not do enough to make it an enjoyable break. Would recommend the hotel to anyone who enjoys fun, food and entertainment. We will be back.

Aug. 2002 Looking for little more then a bed for a few nights as i met a friend who lives in Kirkcaldy, i was pleasantly surprised. When i first called for rooms they were full except for a single room on the main floor, this room backs up to the night club that is a main weekend spot for locals. I was warned of the noise and offered a reduced rate. After accepting the room i found it to be fun and easy :) I did close the pub each night, so the noise didnt bother me and i must say i was treated very well by staff and locals. After 8ish at night i actually had to enter the hotel from the night club entrance a quick show of my key to the bouncer and i was invited right past lines :) As the bar emptied each night i was allowed to hang around a few minutes, have an extra drink, etc. Everyone was just very nice.
