My wife and I stayed at the Strathearn Hotel this week and have mixed feelings, whilst the hotel was clean and food was good, had a few problems,
our room was very small, the shower had a bad leak from the shower tray and the bed squeaked everytime you moved, also we went out first morning for the day and returned to see that the maid had left the door open and only left 1 replacement clean towel,
I spoke to one of the staff about the door being open all day and their response was “we had a new assistant for the maid, I will tell them they must close the door after them",
not once was there an apology or an enquiry if all our stuff was ok,
seams that there was a lack of staff on duty at times, no we would not stay there again

Myself and my husband had our wedding meal and reception at this hotel and most of my family stayed overnight at the hotel.
Everyone cannot stop talking about how clean and beautiful the whole place was.
We didn't have to worry about anything the whole day and night, The host (Julie) and Her family couldnt do more for us, Their all very friendly and welcoming.
Thanks to all the staff at the strathearn for making our wedding day as perfect as we dreamed of. We will defo be back and I would recommend anyone to this hotel

I was recently there for a wedding function, my god what can i say about it, the staff were totally out of this world, they could not do enough for you and were always on hand when needed. Rooms were excellent clean and tidy. The food was lovely. I would recommend it to everyone to stay or have function there. Most friendly hotel i have ever been to.

Having recently attended a function, I was disappointed by the lack of food, argumentative staff and almost non-existent waitress service. I hadn't been for a long time but I won't be back any time soon - if at all.
