“Another good stay in Glenrothes.”

This is our 3rd stay in this Travelodge and have been pleasesd every time. Rooms are spacious and cleaners do a fantastic job keeping them clean.
Hotel situated across from a Chinese buffet place and a bp garage which has a small m&s food shop which is handy for snacks.
We were on the ground floor and the person in the room above was heavy footed walking about his room at 6am every morning of our stay which was quite annoying. Apart from that we had no problem with noise. We would recommend this hotel and will be returning again at some point in the new year.

great travelodge next to main routes and just on the outskirts of glenrothes. situated next to industrial estate but not too noisy with spacious rooms and we even had a bath as well as a shower in our bathroom. just across the road is a petrol station and a chinese buffet restaurant which does great tasty food. this is a great base from which to explore the fife area. st andrews is not too far away and is a beautiful town as is the smaller fishing town of anstruther, well worth a visit to both towns.

Room Tip: not sure if there is any one room quiter than the other as so close to the main routes but no harm i...

“Enjoyable stay”

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a local event. The Travelodge is located away from the town centre but is easily accessed off the A92. There is a 'chain' pub nearby along with a Chinese buffet restaurant and a filling station. The lodge itself was perfectly adequate in all respects - modern, clean and airy. The reception staff were friendly and, at c £55 per night, it was not excessively expensive. Would stay again if in the area.

“Does what it says on the tin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

Stayed in the Travelodge Glenrothes on the 28th and 29th of Aug-11.

The price was £54.00 per night, which was good value considering it was an English bank holiday and that Scottish hotels fill up over that weekend.

The rooms were typical Travelodge fayre, simple with no frills. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Location is easy to easy to find, just off the A92 which links up with the M90 motorway. A small Marks & Spencer’s is located across from the Travelodge as well as a Chinese Restaurant.

Nearby tourist attractions include the village of Falkland and its Palace, Loch Leven Castle, St. Andrews, and Dunfermline.

“Great Stay and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011

Stayed with family for 2 days with a friend. Had read a few reviews on here and thought would give it a go. I don't know what people expect for cheap rooms. Mine was £19 and for this the room was excellent, staff were extremely friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. I was checked in by Hayley who was just lovely, and then upon return from our day out the nightshift girl(Kerry) was dealing with a few drunk people who were giving her cheek. Did think it was ridiculous that these staff are lone workers but they must have great training as they can certainly handle themselves. Evelyn cleaned our room and I must say her manner is amazing. I have never stayed anywhere so people friendly and I will most certainly be returning to this hotel. But seriously people for £19 or £100 definatley worth it.

Room Tip: Sat nav takes you to amazon but when you are coming of a92 follow the road to bp garage as this was...
