What a beautiful place!
Situated in the nice georgian area, at walking distance from Edinburgh main attractions (4 minutes from princes St., 8 min from castle), Broughton place is a quiet and beautiful street with many restaurants around.
We found Eric Robinson's house on the website "aboutscotland" and we can tell you that the larger room we stayed in was even more beautiful than on the pictures! the bed was very comfortable and the view from the window so nice. Eric is a very kind host, "not a professional one" as he says but just the perfect one to feel relaxed and happy to be there. The continental breakfast is kindly prepared and served in the kitchen. Chatting with Eric was delightful and we recommend everyone who wants to have a lovely stay in Edinburgh to go to the best B&B: 16 broughton place.

16 Broughton Place is a wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh. It is the residence of the owner Eric Robinson who graciously lets 2 bedrooms in his beautiful, centrally located apartment. Each room has a private bathroom. We stayed in the bigger of the two rooms and it was just wonderful. Eric has an extensive art collection that is beautifully displayed everywhere in the apartment. Eric serves a delightful continental breakfast in the kitchen. He is gracious and welcoming and the perfect host. His home is extremely clean and spacious and is a true home away from home. We were able to walk everywhere from its central location and very nearby are excellent restaurants and pubs.
