We spent 3 nights around Burn's Night at 14 Hart Street. Our room was large, very comfortable and full of character. The tray of wine and whisky a very nice nice and welcome touch. Breakfasts were delicious, always at a time to suit us, and James was happy to prepare anything we wanted. James and Angela were charming hosts and made us feel as if we were sharing their house rather than staying at their B&B. We will certainly stay with them again next time we are in Edinburgh and would highly recommend 14 Hart Street without hesitation.

End of January we stayed 3 nights in this lovely Scottish B&B. James and Angela are really friendly and helpful. The house is very well situated to visit Edinburgh. Rooms are very nice and elegant. Breakfast was splendid. I would recommend this place to everybody visiting Edinburgh.

Having stayed in a quite a few B&Bs, 14 Hart Street is certainly a cut above the rest - distinguished by the warmth of its hosts, the luxuriousness of the accommodation and its situation right in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. Our room was huge and extremely well equipped. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into anticipating the needs of guests.
Breakfast in the stately Georgian dining room was tremendous.
We felt sorry to have to leave and would certainly return here on another trip to Edinburgh. I have already begun to recommend this place to friends..! The spirit of refinement and civilisation of Enlightenment Edinburgh lives on at 14 Hart Street. Thank you, James and Angela.
