This is the most appalling place I have ever stayed in. Unfortunately I did not read the previous review before I booked. I hope you are not as unfortunate.

There was no-one to let us in and the door was locked! We had to call a number written on a scrap of paper taped to the door. 15 minutes and 2 phone calls later we were let in and shown to our room. The carpets were stained, the room was tiny (not what we were expecting). There was no milk for tea and the window only opened after a struggle. Breakfast was a farce, we were driven to another hotel and deposited unceremoniously at the door, on arrival we had to wait to be seated for 20 mins in a packed foyer as other hotel guests from other hotels were carted in. The seating was allocated on one in and one out basis. There is no mention of the breakfast but it is a choice of eggs and toast or toast and eggs.
Please don't stay here, it's really the worst place I have ever stayed in. I have never written a review before in my life but I wanted to warn as many people as I could.

This place ranks as the worst place we have ever stayed. On arrival the door was locked, a message on the door said "ring the bell", but no bell on the door!!!, All the carpets were heavily stained. The internal door knob came off in my wife's hand, she couldn't open the door - not very good if there was a fire. and the windows did not open enough to escape through. There was no milk withe the tea making facilty, we had to ask for it, the towels were dirty and another couple we met had the same problems. Breakfast didn't start until 0930, after the owners had cooked breakfast at their other hotel. As the onwers are Muslims they would not cook bacon or sausage ( this was not mentioned at time of booking). Because they owners did not stay in the Lodge, there were drunks making nosie all night, running up and down stairs and slaming doors.
When we complained to the owner in the morning he didn't give a dam.
WARNING do not stay there.
