“Perfect”

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. We had a wonderful time and everything was perfect. We really loved the location. It was very easy to use the buses to get around. It is a very short ride to the center of town and also easy to get to and from the airport. The owners very very kind and genuine. Our room was clean and very nice. I would recommend this place! Thank you to the owners!

“Fantastic B&B”

Glenlivet House is marvelous! Linda and Dave were kind, warm and welcoming. The room was cozy and inviting, and, like the entire house, immaculately clean. We stayed for 6 nights, and greatly appreciated our hosts' close attention to all the details that made our visit comfortable. And the breakfasts! Simply the best we had during our entire trip. Glenlivet House is not located in the city center, but instead in a quiet, charming neighborhood -- and directly on major bus routes to both the city and the airport. Transportation was a breeze. Step outside the door to the nearest bus stop, and within minutes you're on Princes Street in central Edinburgh, ready to explore. At the end of the day, Glenlivet House was a pleasure to come back to. This was the best B&B experience we've ever had. Whenever we make it back to Edinburgh, we're definitely staying there again.

“Wonderful stay”

Had a wonderful few days in Edinburgh. Linda and Dave were great - lovely to talk to and very helpful with advice for getting around Edinburgh. Room was superb too, very comfortable, very clean and nice and quiet. Best breakfast I've had in ages.

Well placed for getting into town - 10 minutes on the buses (which stop outside Glenlivet House) and less than £10 in a taxi.

“Best host & hostess, cleanest room, best food!”

We stayed almost two weeks at Glenlivet. The host and hostess were very hospitable, helpful, kind and considerate. The rooms were very clean and attractive and all our needs were met. The breakfasts were outstanding. Transportation was very convenient, and it was a nice neighborhood. There is much to see in and around Edinburgh. It was a tremendous place to stay and great to come "home" to at night after a full day of siteseeing. Very restful. The other guests were very friendly too. Nice people!

“The best B & B we found in UK.”

Has to be Edinburghs best kept secret. Really big rooms, breakfasts superbly cooked and served in surroundings fit for royalty. Spotless everywhere and hosts so friendly they are like family. We never found better in 4 weeks of B & B's. You could not find a single fault here.
