“Lovely place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012 via mobile

Enjoyed overnight stay at Kingsburgh. Lovely touch offering complimentary drinks & nibbles on arrival. Also given box of chocs as it was my birthday which was thoughtful. Just a little too far a walk for me to City Centre though there is a regular bus service thats easily accessible from the house. Would highly recommend staying here for good quality accommodation & attention to detail.

“Highly recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

This b and b is in a good location-15 minute walk from Edinburgh zoo and a short taxi ride into the city centre ( about £10). Comfortable rooms with good amenities. A lovely welcome with a complimentary drink -a fantastic way to settle in. Breakfast is lovely, the fresh fruit selection was the best I have seen.

“I am not surprised that all the reviews are excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

This Hotel/Guest House rates as one of the best I have ever stayed in. As a woman on my own I can honestly say I felt extremely safe and well looked after. I was on business and arrived with two colleagues who lived close by - my host offered us all a glass of wine which was a lovely and unexpected gesture - the wine was excellent and a generous measure too. My room was beautiful with ample tea and coffee and sherry in a decanter too,. It was, very comfortable with lots of gorgeous furniture (the whole house was perfect and very homely and welcoming). The breakfast - WOW! I will probably have to go back to Edinburgh in 2012 and will certainly opt to stay in this delightful residence again. Many thanks - Liz

Room Tip: I imagine all the rooms must be good - I booked late and I believe I got the last room but it was lo...

“B&B Luxury”

Every luxury B&B should use Kingsburgh House as their starting template. Attention to detail was impeccable. A warm welcome on arrival and complimentary drinks delivered to our beautifully appointed room. Breakfast was a special treat - selection and quality impressive. Great bus links into Edinburgh city centre on the doorstep. Would not hesitate to return or recommend this luxurious getaway to friends.

Room Tip: Perhaps request a room which is not on the ground floor. We occasionally were disturbed by the sound...
