“Service with a smile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Stayed for 3 nights, slight hick-up on rooms but duty manager and staff were excellent on resolving situation. Very good location for city- we were on vacation. Meals OK . Look for offers - include breakfast.
Had a nedical emergency at 1 in the morning, yet again the duty staff were excellent. 5* service.
This hotel bats well above the average!

Room Tip: Higher rooms quieter

“Good location and Comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

This hotel was good value and really comfortable.
The bed was huge and cosy.
Staff were really nice and very helpful. Were able to check in early at 9am which was brilliant.

Its close to Grassmarket and Castle, really good location but still quiet. Everything was well within walking distance.

One thing i do have to say is that the number 35 bus does stop very close but it takes a while to get to the airport. A member of staff told us it would only be about 40 minutes to the airport but it ended up taking 1 hour 20 mins and we only made the flight by 5 mins. Not his fault obviously but beware, if you are getting this bus to the airport, give yourself 1.5 hours. I would just walk the 10 minutes to the airport express bus.

“Mr Premier Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Dear Sir

This should be the benchmark for your operation. Fantastic staff, great food, very comfortable room and a brilliant location. We even had a courtesy call the day before asking if there was anything that could be done to make our stay better!!

We cannot fault a thing. This is the sort of service and quality other hotel chains must and should be bloody envious of.

Room Tip: The beds are vast, as per usual at Premier Inns. 2nd floor not too noisy from main road

“Good location for the Old Townn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

As with all Premier Inns you know what you are getting. Clean and comfortable room. I wanted to review this one in particular as the staff were wonderful. We arrived early on the Sat - around 11am. (by the way Scotland was at home to England in the 6 nations that day so everywhere was busy) and were hoping for an early check in as we had lunch reservations for 2pm. Kelly on the front desk was truly professinoal and wonderful and sorted us out a treat. A credit to the hotel. All the staff were lovely andf friendly. Thankyou all.

“A Mid -Week Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

My wife and myself got the oppertunity to get away for a few days in late January and booked a room at Premier Inn Lauriston Place.
From arrival, the staff were friendly and attentive, which made check-in as painless as possible and answered our queries with great paitence as I am sure that they have answered similar questions a million times before. Our room was clean, roomy and very, very comfortable.Anytime we passed reception there was always a smile and greeting which made our small getaway even more enjoyable. The entire stay at the premier inn was extremely enjoyable, the only quibble was that it wasn't long enough.
