What a beautiful B & B - comfortable, clean - and in a great location. really close to public transport so you can leave the car and avoid the headache of driving in a busy city. Sandy and Linda were really helpful and friendly advising how the public transport worked and where to catch the bus and also advised where to eat - good restaurants just a short walk away.
if using the bus have the exact fare as the driver cannot give change - a day trip ticket is better value

We have just returned from our stay at the Braemar and would certainly go back. We went to Edinburgh to see Bon Jovi at Murrayfield and the Braemar proved an ideal base. Sandy and Linda were very helpful and friendly and recommended several places to eat nearby, two of which we tried and both were excellent. The guest house itself is spotlessly clean and the room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a bus stop nearby with buses running into the city centre every few minutes and the Braemar has parking so my car did not move for 3 days, the zoo is also close by. All in all it was a really good trip made even better by Sandy and Linda being so accommodating.

Both my wife and myself enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Braemer Guest House. Lovely breakfast, spotlessly clean room and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. We are thankful to Linda and Sandy for making us feel welcome and providing us with very helpful information about places to visit and to eat out. There are good restaurants just a few minutes walk down the road and the bus stop for buses into the city centre is close by. There is off road car parking so we did not need to move the car during our stay. This is truly an excellent B & B in every respect. We hope to return.

Welcoming host, lovely accomodation, great Scottish breakfast, nothing too much trouble, ideal location - Can't wait to return.
