In a location that is quiet but within walking distance of Haymarket and the City Centre. The hotel is clean & comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Really enjoyed the Scottish breakfast and loved the character of the building. Would definitely stay there again

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel is set in a traditional terrace of stone mansions, with high ceilings, ornate cornices and a grand stair-well. It's in a quiet area a few minutes walk from Haymarket, and close enough to access the city centre on foot (handy as nearby Haymarket is in the throes of tramway construction and traffic snarl-ups.)
The room was clean, well furnished and warm, with tea & coffee supplies replenished daily. Breakfast was very good. Wi-fi connection was mostly good - though interupted by a server problem at one point.

In a nice, quiet location that is easy walking to the city's centre - this accommodation is terrific value for money. A lovely bar area downstairs with a fine selection of whiskies and ales was an added bonus! The bedroom was spacious and clean and the shower hot. The continental breakfast the next day was adequate. Greg on reception was charming and very helpful.
