Stayed here last weekend, really happy with every aspect; will return.

My father and I stayed in this hotel in July of 2011. I can only say wonderful things about the hotel. Our room was right at street level at the front of the hotel, but the hotel had wonderful shutters that blocked out nearly all outside noise. The staff at the hotel was very helpful with everything from fixing out TV to organizing transportation to the airport when we departed. The food at the hotel was also very good. The location of the hotel was also good. It was only a few blocks to Prince's Street, but unfortunately all those blocks are uphill. The good part is it is all downhill on the way back. I would definitely stay here again.

We all have our expieriences both good and bad when we travel but who expects to
receive a lawyers letter when we honestly report them. Is this what the
transparency of the Internet has come too. My family booked the Walton guest
house in August 2011 for a one night stay. The guest house is the first floor
and basement of a building. We were shown a room in the basement which when my
family took a shower had sewage back up in the shower drain. I reported this
on Last Minute Bookings site with whom we booked and got a letter from Walton's
lawyer this morning concocting some story about cleaning my sons bicycle in the
shower! I will say they moved us to a ground floor room that was very nice,
luckily we discovered the smelly room while there was still someone at the front
desk as there is no one there after 9pm.

If they had put us in the nicer room from the beginning we would have had a totally different opinion of this place but I guess sending us a threatening lawyers letter shows that they are no better smelling then the drains in their basement.

comfortable guesthouse with delicious and full breakfast that had vegetarian options as well. rooms were well-equipped with wifi, coffee/tea, tv. though this b&b isn't central, the street its on has a great view of the castle and there are local buses that are quite close and easy to use. also ample/free parking!
