I could not fault this B&B in any way. Very handy for the centre of Edinburgh, yet in a very pleasant location, quiet and stress free.

A beautifully maintained guest house in a tranquil location. The owners showed thoughtfulness and care with their lovely finishing touches, and their friendly but not imposing manner. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.

I chose Joppa Turrets after seeing the reviews on here and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed here for three nights and I really wish it could have been longer.

The location is fabulous, right on the Promenade with wonderful sea views. You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves - so relaxing.

Anne & Phil are the perfect hosts, so friendly. And Phil has perhaps the most impressive moustache I have ever seen!

Breakfast is a treat, generous and very very tasty. I didn't need lunch, it was so filling!

It's about a 25 minute bus ride into Edinburgh and the buses are really frequent so it's ideally located for the best of both worlds.

In short, Joppa Turrets comes highly recommended.

Had a single room with views over the garden and the sea, which looked like a winter wonderland due to loads of snow. At night the soft splashing of the waves could be heard, which was really nice. The room and the bathroom were tidy, clean and comfortable with cosy window seats. The owners were very nice and had no issue with me arriving very late in the evening. Would stay there again any time, highly recommended. I liked the selection of fresh fruits for breakfast.
