We had a wonderful time at the Bouverie B&B. Even though the weather was difficult from time to time, we always looked forward to returning to our wonderful B&B.
Lovely and always friendly and helpful housekeeper Sasha added to the old house's charme. We enjoyed great breakfasts in the cosy kitchen and were amazed to read the bad reviews. We wonder what kind of people would not love this beautiful old B&B...
We certainly enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I stayed at this B@B for two nights during the festival. I went there to be a street entertainer which was an exciting experience. I was made very welcome by Cassie, Archie and Sacha and felt at home there. The house is charming in the heart of the New Town and I felt like I was living in an Alexander McCall Smith novel (Scotland Street books of course).
Hope to go back again later in the year.

We arrived late but were greeted with a warm welcome. Immediately offered a cup of tea and shown our pretty, quiet, clean bedroom. Lovely huge cooked breakfast with homemade jams in a gorgeous kitchen with cosy aga. My wife loved the scottish hand painted table mats from the Orkney islands. I loved the georgian flagstone staircase with inset lighting which compliments the well decorated accomodation. We were ideally located to take in the shows and found Sascha the housekeeper very helpful. Archie and Cassie keep a B&B that is first class and would have made a good addition in one Alexander McCall Smith's 44 Scotland street books.

This was my second visit to this beautiful B&B. Placed is a great location, just a short walk from the city centre it was the ideal place to stay for our trip to the Edinburgh Festival. Archie, Cassie and Sacha are perfect host providing a warm welcome and amazing breakfast. I have to say along with the location and the beautiful rooms the breakfast was the real reason I wanted to come back for a second stay! I can't recommend this gorgeous guest house highly enough!!
