- the apartment is big and well furbished, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen!
- it has washing and drying machine
- the neighborhood is pretty damn calm. so your sleep is guaranteed!

In fact, I would be pretty happy if every city in the world had a hotel like this one!!! 2 thumbs up!

We booked a two bed apartment at the very last minute, we had an accommodation crisis with an earlier choice! The standard of the apartment is very good, it is fresh, clean, spacious and most importantly has room for the three of us (we have a three year old!). There is plenty of room for him to run around and play safely.

The extra touches like the breakfast hamper are really appreciated. There are plenty of places to pop out for supplies and lots of good restaurants in the area.

Had a lovely stay, we will be going back.

We stayed for three nights in January and were very impressed by the overall standard of the accommodation.
I don't know what some other reviewers are complaining about regarding the staff.
The reception team were charm personified and the chambermaids went above and beyond the call of duty.
Situated about 50 yards from The Canongate Kirk it's in the heart of the Old Town.
Having its own secure car park in this part of Edinburgh is as rare as rocking horse [--]!
If you are planning to stay in the near future I would request an upper floor as there is a fair amount of building work next door which starts at 8.am, that is hardly the fault of the hotel is it?
I have no hesitation in recommending this property and will undoubtedly use it again myself.

Wonderful trip. Great place to stay closer to home than hotel! We traveled from Boston on evening flight and were not able to get into room until 2 pm. So we arrived at hotel around 8 am UK time. No sleep and no where to go! Will take early am flight next time! Small grocery store around corner.
