My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights over a long weekend. As all the other reviewers have said, it's a lovely, newly refurbished hotel with a modern style. The staff were all very friendly, and we got a great welcome, not to mention the excellent breakfast.
The room itself wasn't in the same building as the main hotel. We had to go next door, down a flight of stairs into a maze of rooms. To enter, there was a code which got annoying having to enter each time we arrived back at the hotel. The room was small, with just enough space for the furniture. And we had no windows, only a small skylight, which was slightly off-putting. That said, the bed was very comfortable, and we were hardly in the room as we were out in the city exploring.
Overall, we were happy with the value and location of the hotel. We would be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend break to see Edinburgh.

Dear SpokaniteAbroad,
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review.
I’m sorry you found the passage to your room inconvenient. This is a short term measure whilst we complete the refurbishment of a section of rooms, which are due to be completed next week.
I look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Edinburgh.
Kind Regards,
Stephen
