We can not wait to come back!!! The hotel was spotless, clean, room serves was excellent, cannot fault the staff, very welcoming made our stay comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant each morning and filled us all day to see the sights of Edinburgh. The hotel was in easy reach of the city centre, about a 10 - 15 minutes walk. The owner was very happy to give us information on the sights and what was going on in Edinburgh at the time of our stay, which was very helpful as we had never been before. He told us about the Edinburgh festival fireworks was on and they were amazing, I would recommend people to go it was really good!!!! could not have asked for a better stay and we will be back next year!!

We booked this Hotel for my Birthday weekend. I was glad to see on arrival that it was just round the corner from the Playhouse Theatre, loads of Italian Restaurants and a short walk to City Centre. Location wise, the hotel is perfect.
When we arrived we were shown to our rooms, ours was on the top floor, quite a walk after a few too many but the building itself is really beautiful. Our Room was small but not cramped, very cosy. The decor is lovely too.
At night we had a few drinks in the bar before heading out, the owners were lovely, had a laugh and they were quick to recommend the best and worst places to spend a night, which was most appreciated.
The breaksfast really does set this Hotel apart from the others! It was Fab! We chose what we wanted the night before and it was cooked specially and delivered to thetable when we serviced. Much better than a cold buffet station!
All in All i really recommend this Hotel, great value for money!

Great value and very welcomed! the location is around the corner fromt he Playhouse theatre, a short walk tot he centre, I love Edinburgh! There was a wide choice for breakfast, I was impressed as to meeting individual needs as required. This was my birthday treat and also recieved a proposal of marriage from my boyfriend which he had organised a bottle of bubbly at breakfast! The room was clean, comfortable and warm. We felt we had privacy and secure within the building as the hotel was locked and only those staying could gain access. We are now planning to return next year with my children as I want them to experience Edinburgh, plenty to see and do here. Thank you John for your warm welcome and catering to my surprise

We booked this hotel through the internet the night before our stay, We arrived early and was pleased to see the parking (street) was free at weekends ,a rare thing for Edinburgh .our room was ready so we were able to leave our things and head up town for some lunch.The room was small but clean ,all we needed for one night stay.The breakfast next morning was fresh and vast ,Overall it was a pleasent stay although the decor could do with an update , We would return to Clan campbell again .
