Edinburgh is a beautiful city and this is a great hotel to stay in. We have been there twice now and both times the hotel impressed us. The rooms are spacious and offer good value for money, and the location is great. The city centre is minutes walk away, with plenty of bars/restaurants nearby.

We stayed at this hotel for a night as we arrived in Edinburgh at 8pm on a thursday evening and had booked a Hilton weekend deal for the next 2 nights. I just booked this as was £39 for a double for the night do fitted our plans perfectly.
We checked in no problem with friendly staff and were really happy with our room. It was just a standard doubld but had a king size bed and everything I would want from a hotel, clean room. Clean and modern bathroom. The public areas were also clean and tidy and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. We moved to the Hilton grosvenor the next day as had prepaid and prebooked a weekend away there. As soon as we arrived there we wanted to go back to the prem inn!!! This prem inn is a great location for a visit to Edinburgh and I really thought it was fantastic value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed at this hotel for one night in January this year, and cannot fault it in any way.

The room was exactly as expected for a Premier Inn, nothing fancy, but clean and modern throughout.

The hotel itself is a little tricky to find but only a five minute walk to the City Centre, once you have familiarised yourself with your surroundings.

The things I found really exceptional for this hotel, considering the very low room rates, were some of the facilities that you wouldn't always expect from a budget hotel, such as carded entry to the lifts, and left luggage.

Overall it was a teriffic stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a cheap, yet good quality, room close to Edinburgh's beautiful city centre.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room more than adequate, spacious with a good shower. Even though the Hotel was obviously full the staff were unflustered and friendly. Very busy at breakfast time and yet we were quickly seated with a good traditional breakfast served within minutes. The bar is souless but the guinness good and fairly priced. Less than £260 for 2 nights including breakfast was a fair price for a city centre hotel over a rugby weekend, unlike the rip off hoteliers in London and Dublin. Does what it says on the tin!
