Booked the Hilton Edinburgh Airport direct on-line and got a good rate (£71 for each of two rooms) on the outward part of our journey, but unfortunately the best rate they could offer on the return was £135 per room so we opted for the Premier Inn at Haymarket instead (£60 per room).
We had dinner in the restuarant, which was ok, and got complimentary breakfast in the morning, and upgraded rooms, thanks to my gold loyalty card. The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was good, and we also had a look at the health club/swimming pool, which looked excellent, although we did not have time to use this facility.
All in all, a great place for a stop-over if you can get a reasonable rate.

It was a pity that the rate on the return stay wasn't suitable for you, but in the future do try us again as far out as you can from your stay to get the best rates.
The food and beverage experience you had between dinner and breakfast all sounds great and I'm delighted you enjoyed these parts of our hotel. Maybe next time you'll have time to use our fantastic LivingWell Health Club, it gets a great reaction from guests as it surprises most people with how extensive the facilities are.
