This is a really good hotel. I've stayed there a number of times over the years since it first opened in 1990 and seen it in various hotel chain guises. It's Radisson Blu iteration is definitely the best yet. The rooms are very well appointed, clean and comfortable and certainly not 'fraying at the edges'. The bathroom was particularly awesome! If you're after a central location in the old town, on the Royal Mile, then you won't be disappointed with the Radisson Blu. An added bonus if you're driving is that the hotel has a parking garage (first come, first served - no advance reservations) and I didn't have any problems getting a space when I stayed. To have a hotel so in the heart of the city with available parking is a real bonus. TIP: Pay your car parking charge at hotel reception to get a discount rate. TIP: Visit 'Pizza Express' just round the corner on North Bridge for an excellent meal out.

I stayed there on business and found it to be very clean, with helpful staff and efficient service.

The food was very average but still good. I think I would go for something more local if on leisure but still would recommend i when on business.

Location is definitely very good and convenient.

Beautiful very modern decor right in the heart of historic Edinburgh. We had a turret suite overlooking the Royal Mile. Just a few minutes walk from all the top tourist attractions, restaurants,night life and shopping. The staff is exceptional. Can't do enough to make your trip perfect.

Nice location and the hotel staff was excellent. Right on the Royal Mile. Sometimes loud if you are on the same side as the Bank Hotel. For the price we were very happy.
