Sue Kinross was a wonderful hostess. Her golden retriever Islay was an added attractions since we love dogs. The B&B was clean, well appointed, and within walking distance of downtown Edinburgh. Sue made dinner reservations at two fine restaurants. Her breakfasts were all we needed until dinner. All in all, a great place to visit.

My wife and I have just enjoyed a lovely long weekend in Edinburgh staying at Sue’s guesthouse at 11 Belford Place. The room we had was clean, bright and airy, the shower hot and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great and just what we needed before setting off on big walks around Edinburgh. Add to this the attention of Sue's lovely dog Islay and it would be hard for us to find fault in our stay.

I entered to run in the Edinburgh marathon on 23rd of may, and i was looking for somewhere to stay in Edinburgh for that weekend, a friend suggested staying at Belford
place and i'm very glad that i did..

As 11 Belford Place is a warm and friendly place to stay, and is used by other Marathon runners on a regular basis. the breakfasts were fantastic and individual dietry needs are taken care of, i wanted porridge and toast each morning as i could not face a fried breakfast before my Marathon..

Sue Kinross has a lovely house set right in the centre of Edinburgh, but you would not know it if you were dropped in blindfold. Its a very peaceful, very quiet and relaxing place 10 mins walk from Princes St one way and Murrayfield the other. And Sue is the perfect hostess. The double room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.
