It has taken me far too long to write this review. However, my tardiness does not lessen the outstanding time we had at Duthus Lodge. During our stay in Scotland, we visited and experienced MANY Bed and Breakfasts. We loved Kay and Murdo, their warm hospitality, and the way they made us feel so very special. The accommodation was spectacular, the breakfast was fantastic, and of course Edinburgh was amazing. Thank you for having us, we will return.

myself and my 3 sisters stayed here on a birthday weekend in Edinburgh. We were made very welcome and were delighted with our room. Parking was secure and theres a bus stop right across the road which cost £1.30 to the city centre. The Scottish breakfast was delicious. I will definetly stay here again.

Stayed at the Duthus Lodge once again, and as always, not disappointed.
A warm welcome, lovely breakfasts, and very homely too, not forgetting how easy and convenient for local public transport.
Can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed this b&b. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Our room was for a family of three with ensuite and was nicely appointed. Cookies and tea were provided in our room. Breakfast was a combination of hot and cold offerings...all served with charm. We purchased a one day bus pass to get us into the centre of the city, a mere 15 minutes by bus with a stop a few steps away from where we were staying. Parking is available but there are only a few spaces available, not a big deal. We would come back again. A high 3 star service.
