I travelled to this apartment for 4 nights in January, the apartment is small, but its clean and contains everything you would need for your stay......the view from the apartment and the apartments location are perfect, Jill is a delight to deal with throughout and very professional..... oh and I cant recommend the bar at the bottom (the wash) highly enough all in all, a fantastic experience, apartment and location.

Just got back today from a great value, and great fun 4 day trip to Edinburgh with my son and a friend. Directions to the Capital View Apartments were easy to follow, and with direct views over Princes Street Gardens, it was a perfect location. My son (6) was literally jumping up and down for joy when he saw all the lights of the Christmas market and fun fair set up in the gardens - a view he had from his bed!! The apartment is clean and tidy, and although the windows are only single glazed in keeping with the age of the building, it was warm. We also sat in the Wash Bar next door for a delicious hot toddy (medicinal of course, due to 2 out of 3 of us having colds..), on a couple of occasions after our shopping trips. We took advantage of the tourist leaflets Jill had helpfully left us, and visited the Camera Obscura, Zoo, Dungeon, and ate at the Southern Cross Cafe for breakfast - all great recommendations. Only been home 4 hours and my son wants to go back - can't be bad!

The flat is very central, clean and bright. My 3 friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jill :)
