We booked our honeymoon break here and had their duplex suite. We had a bit of a nightmare booking the room with the staff but got resolved in the end.
On arrival we were very impressed with the room, champers on ice, flowers, they were all waiting for us. The suite itself was great. Minor grumble, the bose sound system didnt have aerial, so no radio and the batteries were flat in the tv remote upstairs, which took a few days to get replaced.
The bed is massive, the bathroom and shower room are luxury, certainly a place to go away for a treat.
The negatives, well the restaurant food and staff are poor. We had a meal included in the package, and it was poor, infact if i had paid for it i would have sent it back. The Lamb chops had more bone than meat, on all 3 of them. We didnt even get offered coffee or desert and after waiting 15 mins we got up to leave.
Breakfast is a manic and again the staff do very little to make you welcome but the breakfast was good thou.
They have a great indoor pool and massure who did beauty treatments, My wife really enjoyed thoses.

Overall its a great hotel, but the poor food and staff leave prevent it being somthing special. Having been to the balmoral and seeing how their staff perform, then these guys should go and visit and see the difference.
