Myself & 3 friends have just got back from a brilliant weekend break in Edinburgh & have to say St. Giles apartments are absolutley fab!! This is th 3rd time we have stayed here & can honestly say we haven't came across one fault yet!! This time we stayed in the advocates close apartment which is a 2 bedroom split level with the living room & kitchen upstairs. It has everything you need, the space is brilliant & views looking out onto Scotts monument & Princes street were AMAZING!! If you are coming to Edinburgh this is where you need to stay!!! See you next year!!

Stayed in appt 6, top floor. The facilities are top standard. 1 x v large bedroom and 2 medium. Kitchen & bathrooms very modern. Staff on arrival very efficient and friendly. Just 1 drawback - the windows are single glazed sash windows and getting on a bit. This area of town in noisy at night and we didnt get a good nights sleep on either night. The owners cant stop the noise but the windows need changing. Thats the only fault.

Our one bedroom apartment was luxury, after being in b&b rooms for a week. We looked directly onto St Giles Cathedral and the Royal Mile. We could look at all the street theater and be entertained, but the bedroom was removed and backed onto to a very quiet back street. Our friends were staying nearby in a different hotel and it was nice to have an area besides a cafe that we could just sit quietly and talk. The rooms were very well appointed and the kitchen had a washer dryer.
St Giles Apartments was walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and not far from shopping and cafes and a comedy club.
While we were a couple, I can imagine the location would be great for families.

One caveat, we had a car and had to park in a carpark several blocks away. We had no difficulties, but to be honest if I went back to Edinburgh, I wouldn't have a car.
The staff were great helping us with the luggage and giving us directions.
I would definitely stay at St Giles Apartments again.

We booked a 3 bed roomed apartment for a stay with family friends in October. The location is superb! Direct access onto the Royal Mile probably less than 400 meters from Edinburgh castle.

The apartment (3rd Floor - great views over the cathedral) is large, very well furnished and stocked with everything that you need. The beds were also really comfortable.

The key pick up and handover was seamless. The people who run this business know what they are doing and look after customers properly.

As we are regular visitors to the fair city of Edinburgh we would definitely stay here again
