even before we arrived nothing was too much trouble from arranging a restaurant for our anniversary meal, booking trips ,directions on how to get anywhere. wendy was the perfect landlady....friendly, welcoming and accommodating in every way. breakfast was a variety of cooked...english and scottish as well as fresh fruits, yoghurts, cakes and cereals,plus fresh coffee tea and juice. rooms were immaculate and very tastefully decorated. tea and coffee restocked daily and complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms.. buses in to the city are plentiful and the bus stop is just around the corner.we def recommend it and would def stay again...THANK YOU WENDY...AND HARRY!!!!

I stayed there for one night before going home after a sailing trip from Germany to Edinburgh.
Showed up there on Sunday at 10 a.m.
Wendy was really nice and gave me the key for the room.
Rooms quite nice and clean, some shampoo and shower gel is offered in the room, Coffee and tea also.
Good english breakfast to your wishes, cereals coffee and tea enough.
One can go to inner city with bus (33 or 48) within 15 min. It's quiter and not so crowded there. A bigger shopping center ist 5 min by feet away.
I'ld go there a second time.

Excellent host (Wendy), perfect location, wonderful breakfast, absolute cleanliness, comfortable beds (need I say more?)!!!! Unforgetable stay!

Stayed here for the Marathon, Wendy was an amazing host really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
