this was so convenient. Easy walking distance from everywhere. Comfy Beds. Modern, and full breakfast buffet. The staff were amazingly helpful and FRIENDLY! On check out day, it was no problem for them to hold our luggage in a locked room while we continued to sight see.
Make sure you eat at World's End around the corner (near the bagpipe shop!!) . We ate authentic Scottish food. Dont be afraid to try Haggis. Really yummy!

Stayed here with my pal in December for one night. We were doing Xmas shopping and taking in the whole German Market thing and a few pubs! The hotel was in a great location for the Royal Mile and Princess Street. Rooms were clean and breakfast was really nice. We found the staff really helpful as they offered to hold our luggage while we went shopping before our journey home. If they had not offered we would have been carrying lots of shopping around Edinburgh all day!! Would certainly use again and the price is brill.

My husband and I spent the night at this hotel in December before returning to the States. The front desk staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The Hotel is very clean and the rooms are nice and cozy. Right around the corner from the Royal Mile. Would highly recommend staying here.

I usually stay here whilst in Edinburgh. The location is good for the old town, the rooms are clean and comfy and the service second to none. I have never been let down by the staff or regretted staying here. Only minor criticism is that the breakfasts are a bit basic.
