My boyfriend and I spent two nights there and the owner was friendly when we walked in. After looking about the room we saw that the shower door was broken so we had to have her fix that. And she did. The bed wasnt very comfortable but after two days of travel we didnt care. The bathroom and the bedroom were clean, but the shower is so small, but I guess that cant be helped in a bed and breakfast, and shower pressure was pretty good. The breakfast was nice, but it didn't change. You get the same breakfast every morning. Its located in an ok place. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk into the heart of Edinburgh where all the sightseeing is. But I wanted to put this was my boyfriend left his bag of toiletries there and we called to see if she could mail it to us when we were in Bath and she did and paid for it. Which was very nice of her!

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed so comfortable. Small bathroom with very powerful shower. Good hot cooked breakfast and choice of cereals. Over all a lovely brief stay.

quite a good position, but except for this, all the rest is really nothing special.
tiny room, very standard breakfast, wireless not working, and a very bad smell everywhere (I kept my window open all the time). the owner was not particularly friendly either. basically I think it's way too expensive for what it offers.

This is a lovely clean guest house. Its about 4 bus stops out of Edinburgh. Free off street car parking. The rooms aren't huge but they are bright, lovely linen. Great breakfast and Pauola is a terrific host. Nothing is too much trouble.
there are 2 great restuarants. La Favorita and Tailends just down the street. Also there is a Laundry just around the corner which is great for the traveller!
