My room was comfortable, warm and spotless - superb value for money. The breakfast is cooked to order and you can have your breakfast the way you like it - most unusual based on my experience in other b&bs. The owners Hazel and John are lovely and friendly and extremely welcoming. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend the Alberta to anyone!

I certainly received a warm welcome from Hazel and John. It is very much a family home and I was made to feel part of it. Rooms are basic however they are excellent value; all the essentials are offered and anything additional will be supplied if required i.e. fresh milk. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. It was a cold windy night with snow on the ground in the morning but I felt warm and unaware of the temperature outside.

Breakfasts are cooked to order while you wait, resulting in everything being fresh.

I really can not see what Kojiro is on about, having been here for two weeks and will most likely stay here for the duration of my business here.

The owners are really nice people, it's a very safe, residential part of town and Hazel makes the best vegetarian meals, enough to turn a carnivore like myself around. It's probably not suited for people looking for bustling nightclubs, however, the city center is only a 10 minute bus ride away, where all the activity you need is in abundance.

So far, it has been excellent, the owners are really nice and firendly, very honest about money and I feel as if I'm in a home away from home.

This place is definately one to recommend! Great Hospitality - excellent food! The room I stayed in was small and yet big enough for my 3 night stay - it was very clean and had everything I needed! Wireless and TV in the room were a bonus and I would come back here anytime! Although it is not right in the centre of town, bus connections are great and the private parking comes in handy if you bring your own car - like I did! Thanks guys!
