My husband and I were visiting Scotland all the way from Dallas, and we couldn't have felt more welcomed than when we stayed at the Alberta! Everything about it was a treat, from Hazel and John's fantastic cooking, to the spacious and graciously appointed rooms, to the hilarious stories told around the table. There's even a little gallery of paintings and cards available for sale--absolutely charming. Tea and accoutrements are offered at every turn, and despite being super-caffeinated by our own overindulgence in them, we slept like logs in our cozy room. Parking is available in a lot right beside the house and made it easy to get in and out. I should also mention my husband and I are vegetarians and were well taken care of during our visit, not going hungry for one second. This is by far the best B&B we've ever stayed in and I can't wait to return!
