Arrived at the Invermark on the 23rd September to find that only 2 rooms were available having booked 3 rooms in July - I had to stay 2 doors down at Ashley House B&B. Given a sob story about a 92 year old man who turned out to be the managers father - the rooms had been double booked. As it was my birthday and I was travelling with my 83 year old Dad, 81 year old Uncle, my cousin and his wife, I was not happy. The rooms look great on the website, but were jaded and not too clean. Both the owner and the manager smelled of drink at 3pm, and did not seem to know what arrangements they had made for me! The workman occupying "my" room locked the lounge from the inside to prevent our use.
