Have visited this establishment a number of times in the past ten years and have always found it very pleasant for a family lunch! The menu is varied with plenty of choice, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is tasty and plentiful!
I must stress that we have only visited this hotel for lunch!
You can enjoy lunch in the bar - the television was a bit loud - or in the white-tablecloth restaurant, where peace reigns supreme! This was very nice I have to say!
Not too expensive, a quiet ambience and a good choice of fare - definitely great for lunch!

We had our office staff night out at the hotel (14 people). The staff were very nice on arrival and took everyone’s coats. The Christmas menu was nice and the portions were large enough to feed an army. The quality of food was, as per usual top class and the Indian curry’s always leave me speechless. It is nice to see staff enjoy their work and nothing was a problem for them. The restaurant was full and everyone was having a good time. At one point the total restaurant were singing Christmas songs. Our table left feeling very happy and very full. This was so good, we have booked our office Christmas night out for next year, although i will be visiting a few times more before then. Thanks again guys for the great night and keep up the good work.

We were recently treated to a night out and a meal from the company I work for. The Christmas menu was not what we expected for a start some of the party ordered the samosa starter and was disappointed to find there was only one tiny samosa on their plates. Furthermore after the main course was served, one of our party asked for ketchup and was given a paper cup that was similar to the one that my daughter is given at a fast food chain. I find it absolutely shocking that this is what you receive in a 4 star restaurant. Don't get me wrong the quality of the food was second to none but we all left still feeling hungry. The level of service we received could have been better but I feel that they did the best they could with the little training that they obviously have not been given... The management need to sort it out and while on the subject of the management we were left feeling very awkward of the way she was talking to the staff in clear earshot of all of the diners. Had it not been for the cheery disposition of the staff working that night I am sure the night would have been a total disaster.

I have visited The Hotel Broughty Ferry a number of times, and always found it to be very welcoming.
The rooms, food and service are of the highest standard (make sure to try the authentic indian curries, the best in town!).
I have recommended the hotel to a number of friends, and I have heard nothing but positive comments from anyone who has visited.
I look forward to my next visit.
