stayed here for 2 nights , rooms spotless, staff friendly , very handy for dundee centre. breakfast was excellent and the waiters each morning were very helpful and nice. nosey parkers restaurant was very good, had an excellent steak here. all in it was a fantastic break and a lot better than some fancier places ive stayed, could do with a freshen up in main areas

We received a groupon voucher for this hotel as a christmas gift, we stayed there last weekend and really enjoyed it. The communal areas of the hotel are a little dated but all very clean and tidy. the staff are all very friendly and were a great help in giving us directions / reccommendations etc The breakfast was lovely and we also had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. My husband is a head chef and he had nothing but compliments regarding the food. Our room was large and had a very comfortable king size bed, the en suite was compact but clean and had a great shower. The room was at the back of the hotel looking out over the coast so was very quiet.
Overall i would definately return , like previous posters im not sure i would pay the full prices but on the groupon deal it was absolutely brilliant. Oh we also got a free bottle of wine, we were offered red, white or prosecco, we chose prosecco which they didnt have in stock but happily substituted for Rose(which was delicious)!.

This is the 2nd visit to this hotel.We cannot fault it for friendlieness .The staff cannot do enough for you, just ask...The head receptionist has been here years and she is fantastic.My mum =has a disability also 2 wee dogs,and she kindly showed us a room if my mum wanted to come mid week with dogs on ground floor that would be convenient to take the dogs straight out door, instead of waiting for lift etc.,They go above duty and cannot do enough for you.We stayed on 4th floor which is quiet,as they do have a very busy caledar for functions and it can be noisy, but we have never been effected by noise.Breakfast very good, and we always get a really cheap deal cannot fault accomodation and staff.Its greatly situated for theatre cinema restaurants pubs etc., Also great secure parking.

Had an excellent weekend. Dont let some reviews put you off. Rooms were very good as were the staff and really nice breakfast.OK some of the decor in the main stairways and corridors are a bit tired but you wont be sleeping in the corridors eh.

Had a great room on the 3rd floor with fantastic view. Close to shops and bars.Absolutely no complaints.
